Green Thumb Robotics
Two MIT and Berkeley trained engineers, roboticist and mechatronics expert Chris Ward and ex-Google software/hardware hacker J.D. Zamfirescu, join forces to solve your weed problems and build the next generation of robotics. We are building a garden and yard weeding service using cat-like legged robots, and gathering the data needed to build agricultural and other robots that can operate in unstructured environments. Initially a subscription weed removal service, remote supervisors will assist with plant identification as needed, providing training data for continuous improvement, allowing our robots to operate with less supervision and eventually with full autonomy.
